Khells Estates began in 2020, not with property, but with an attempt to build a better future through investing, starting in stocks, shares and crypto. We relocated to focus on education and long-term development. Lea worked part time while studying to become a paramedic, and Callum worked full time while attending night school to qualify as an accountant.
Along the way we tried several business and investment ideas. Most didn't work. Every one taught us something, and brought us closer to what we always knew was the real goal: property.
We bought our first property in 2024, buying it outright with no mortgage. At the end of 2025, once our studies were finished, we went full steam ahead, mentored by experienced property professionals, and committed to doing this properly rather than quickly.
Having been tenants ourselves, and having dealt with a slum landlord and an unresponsive agent firsthand, we know exactly what we don't want to become.
